About the Event
During this educational workshop, we'll learn how to make a delicious, flaky pie crust from scratch and bake North Georgia Candy Roaster Squash Pie. This squash came right from our garden and is a local heirloom variety originally grown by the Cherokee people. Each participant will take home their own homemade pie to share at their Thanksgiving gathering. Parents are welcome to join and learn alongside their child. This class is geared for 8-12 year olds so for children under 7, we kindly ask that an older sibling or adult accompany them.Â
