Community Kitchen
The Community Kitchen is a shared-use kitchen available to small business owners and entrepreneurs that provides community members an opportunity to grow or start a business without having to invest in large kitchen equipment or property up front. It is the ideal space for producers of baked goods, canned foods, sauces, jams and jellies and other value-added products for retail sale.
Rental Hours & Rates
The kitchen is available 7 days a week.
Monday-Thursday: $15/hour
Friday-Sunday: $20/hour

walk-in cooler: $10/month
freezer: $10/month
large equipment: $25/month

security deposit: $200
20% discount for Wimberly Center tenants and Winder Housing Authority residents
Requirements

Be certified as a Food Protection Manager.

Obtain a valid food license, or licenses, from the appropriate food licensing agency.

Obtain liability insurance for their business.

Attend a facility orientation and training.

Sign a Rental Agreement.
