Join us for Community Farm Volunteer Days!

We would love your help in managing our Community Farm!

Individuals and groups are welcome. Potential tasks include weeding, planting, seed starting, harvesting, washing, sorting, event preparation, and everything else farm and garden related. We also have some opportunities to help us prepare for or host special events!

Volunteering begins at 8 am and usually goes until 11 am or 12 pm. An email will be sent prior to the day if volunteering will start at 9 am or if volunteering is canceled due to weather.

To view and sign up for our volunteer opportunities, go to our GivePulse page! Check back often as new and different volunteer events are being posted all the time! Contact us with any questions. We hope to see you soon!

A note about volunteering with Wimberly’s Roots:

You will get dirty so please dress appropriately for the work and the weather! We will give notice by email by the morning if volunteering is canceled for the day.

This work frequently requires standing, bending, and some lifting. Please let the volunteer manager know if you have any needs or requirements related to this work.

If this is your first time volunteering, please enter through the Wimberly Center building's front entrance (the green awning) off of Wood Avenue and fill out our volunteer waiver. Thank you for your interest in helping us grow our garden space!

Individuals and groups are welcome.
